Summer cocktails are NEVER off limits with these refreshing Weight Watchers skinny summer cocktails.
Below are 2 fantastically delicious skinny summer cocktails to enjoy on a hot summer day: Berry Peach Sparkling Sangria and a Frozen Strawberry Margarita.
The Berry Peach Sparkling Sangria is sweetened with a combination of fresh fruits and juices. Adding in sparkling water right before serving helps balance their sweetness and using sparkling water keeps it kid friendly. However, to make the Berry Peach Sparkling Sangria an adults only beverage, simply swap out the unsweetened grape juice with an equal amount of your favorite dry red wine.
One perk of making this fruity frozen cocktail like the fantastic Strawberry Margarita recipe below, is that you don’t need to splurge on the most expensive liqueurs to achieve fantastic results. However, you will need a good quality 100% blue agave blanco tequila, and an orange liqueur, such as Cointreau, Grand Marnier, or regular triple sec, and some fresh lime juice to pull it all together.
Also, there are instructions for making the Strawberry Margarita a mocktail – just as refreshing and super low in SmartPoints.
