If you have ever eaten Bourbon Street Chicken at Golden Corral, you know how delicious it is. But I hate not being in control of my points when we go out to eat. And, I’m always looking for ways to make recipes lighter. So, this past week I tinkered around in the kitchen and came up with a just as delicious but skinnier version which is the ultimate Bourbon Street Chicken Recipe for Weight Watchers Freestyle.
And can you believe just 1 serving is only 2 Freestyle Points! This Weight Watchers recipe for Bourbon Street Chicken is just as saucy as the original version. And if you choose to not use actual Bourbon in the recipe, the recipe will be reduced down to 1 point per serving. Â

Ultimate Bourbon Street Chicken Recipe
4 Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
1/2 Cup of Soy Sauce
1 Teaspoon Each of Ground Ginger & Garlic Powder
2 Tablespoons of Dried Onion Flakes
3 Ounces of BourbonÂ
1/2 Cup of Swerve Brown Sugar Substitute*
Salt and Ground Black Pepper to Taste
Fresh Snipped Parsley, Optional
How to Make Ultimate Bourbon Street Chicken Recipe for Weight Watchers Freestyle
- Combine everything but the chicken in a bowl and stir to combine well. Add in chicken breast; cover and let marinate in refrigerator for at least 4 hours – overnight is even better.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and put chicken breasts in a baking dish in a single layer. Pour remaining marinade over chicken and bake for 1 hour. flipping breasts over after every 15 minutes.
- Remove chicken from oven and spoon any remaining juices over top of chicken breasts and add snipped parsley (if using). This makes 4 servings at 2 Freestyle Points per breast. Enjoy!

1 Teaspoon of Bourbon Whiskey Liquor Essence*
1/2 Cup of Swerve Brown Sugar Substitute*
Salt and Ground Black Pepper to Taste
Fresh Snipped Parsley, Optional
- Follow the same directions as in recipe above.
