This Slow Cooker Coca-Cola Chicken is an easy, comforting dinner that’s perfect for busy weeknights. Juicy chicken breasts cook low and slow in a sweet and savory cola barbecue sauce, creating a tender, flavorful meal with almost no prep.
If you love simple crockpot chicken dinners that feel cozy and satisfying, this recipe is a great one to keep on repeat. Everything goes straight into the slow cooker, making it a hands-off dinner that works for family meals or easy entertaining.
If chicken breasts aren’t your favorite, you can easily substitute thighs or drumsticks.

Amazing Crockpot Coca Cola Chicken Recipe
INGREDIENTS:
4 Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts (about 2 Pounds)
Salt & Pepper to Taste
2 Onions (Yellow, White or Red), Peeled and Quartered
2 Lemons, Quartered
18 Ounce Bottle of G. Hughes Sugar Free Barbecue Sauce (Any Flavor)
12 Ounce Can of Coca Cola (NOT DIET)
Vegetable Cooking Spray
Fresh Parsley or Diced Green Onion, Optional
How To Make Crockpot Coca Cola Chicken:
- Spray your slow cooker with vegetable cooking spray.
- Rinse chicken and pat dry with paper towels. Season generously with salt and pepper to taste. Put chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
- Add in onions and lemons.
- Pour the G. Hughes Sugar Free Barbecue Sauce and Coca Cola over the top.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or on high for 4 hours.
- Serve warm with some of cooking liquid on the side for dipping or spoon on top of chicken breast. I remove the skin on the breast and pour the sauce on top. Top with fresh parsley or green onion if using.
