How This Plan Works If You Are On a GLP-1
If you are taking semaglutide, tirzepatide, or a similar medication, appetite is usually the limiting factor rather than willpower. That changes what a good meal plan looks like. Smaller portions need to carry more protein, food needs to be easy to get down on days when nothing sounds good, and leftovers need to reheat well because cooking from scratch every night is not realistic.
This week is built around that. Most meals lean on chicken, turkey, shrimp, cottage cheese, or protein powder as the base. Several recipes repeat across two or three days on purpose, so you cook once and eat twice. And the mug cakes and protein bites exist specifically for the days when a full plate feels like too much but you still need the protein.
Prep These 4 Things on Sunday
About an hour of prep covers most of the week. Everything below keeps well and reheats without turning rubbery.
- Turkey Protein Bites — bake one batch and they cover Friday, Saturday, and Sunday lunch. Keeps 4 days in the fridge, or freeze and reheat in the air fryer.
- Creamy Dreamy Hummus — makes about 2 cups at zero points. Use it for Tuesday lunch, then as a dressing or dip the rest of the week.
- Vanilla Cheesecake Fruit Salad — no cooking at all, and it covers Wednesday and Thursday breakfast.
- Birthday Cake Protein Blondies — 12 bars at 2 points each. Bake Sunday, grab one whenever the afternoon slump hits.
The quesadilla filling and the herb cheese chicken also both keep 3 to 4 days, so if you have extra time on Sunday those are worth getting ahead on too.
