Who doesn’t want to save more money and time overall? I recently came across these 5 money and time saving smartphone apps that you must download now to save you more money. I was very surprised I didn’t know about any of them and I was delighted once I found out how they save money and time.
5 Money and Time Saving Smartphone Apps To Download
Gas Buddy.
This app is so cool. Gas Buddy lets you know what gas stations have the cheapest gas prices. But it gets even better. Gas Buddy helps you find the cheapest gas in your area AND may pay for your gas! When you see a gas price in your area, go to Gas Buddy and update the price. Gas Buddy will give you points for updating the price, watching a video, telling your friends about Gas Buddy and more. Once your accumulate a certain amount of points, you trade them for raffle tickets to participate in sweepstakes for gas cards. A Win-Win.
Find & Save.
Find & Save is another one of those super cool apps where all you have to do is save your store receipts. After downloading the app, Find & Save will tell you what store you are near to visit. Do your shopping at that particular store, then you snap a photo of the receipt on your phone and submit it. In a few days, they will pay you via Paypal or you can save your points up to use later. The stores that I have been directed to visit so far are Target & Michaels. I love it!
Key Ring.
Do you know how you have 98 store loyalty cards flooding your wallet? And then for some reason, you get to the store and realize you never put the card back into your wallet the last time you used it? That’s why you have to install the Key Ring app. This app keeps track of all your store loyal card information. Even better, when you use the Key Ring app you get exclusive coupons, deals that are going on, the current sales circulars for stores you visit and you can even create your shopping list on this app.
Out to Eat With Kids.
I wish I knew about this app a few weeks back when we took my son and his friends out to eat after soccer practice. This cool app lets you know what restaurants in your area have the best deals. For instance, what night “Kids Eat Free” at certain restaurants. Or what deals are going on for kid’s meals at a particular spot.
Onavo.
This free app helps you in a couple ways. First off, Onavo protects your personal information through encryption. Onavo also lets you know how much data you are using and when you use certain apps, which ones are eating up your data. This way you can limit using that app or switch to Wi-Fi. So Onavo does double duty by protecting your information and tries to save you money on your phone bill usage so you don’t incur overage fees.
I have to say, I was not aware of any of these apps. I usually just stick to the grocery store savings ones like I mentioned here.
Do you have any other money saving apps that you use?
