Hi all! I’m back with another awesome week of meat sales. This week has quite a few great BOGO deals available at Winn-Dixie and Publix. Below is our $59 weekly grocery list, haul and meal plan for the week of October 23.
This week we hit 3 stores: Save-A-Lot, Publix and Winn-Dixie. If you live in the South and have a Publix nearby, I suggest you take advantage of the buy one get one deals on Breyer’s Delights Ice Cream and the Dial Shower Gels. I actually had to get rain checks for both items since I have the buy one get one coupons to apply to them. This is another tip I can give you: when you see a buy one get one coupon for virtually anything, print it out. If your grocery store is having a buy one get one sale on the same item, you will get both for free. Even if it’s for cat food and you have a dog, donate it to a local animal shelter. Win-Win!

Our total grocery bill this week came in under $59 for our family of 3. Below is what our weekly meal plan for breakfast, lunch and dinner will be as well as, my son’s lunches that he takes to school and my husband’s separate breakfasts. All together, it is a total of about 63 meals.
FIRST, LET ME SAY THAT IN ORDER TO KEEP OUR GROCERY BILL SUPER LOW WE DO THE FOLLOWING:
1. Shop at different stores. Â We mainly shop at Publix but also frequent Aldi, Save-A-Lot, Winn-Dixie or Walmart when meat sales are good.
2. Our son is also a picky eater and does not eat the same meals as us different times during the week.
3. We stock up on beverages, snacks, staples etc. when we have extra money available or especially when there is not a great sale on meat.
4. I do make quite a few items from scratch.  Especially snacks for my son’s lunch, bread, muffins, soups, sauces, etc.
5. We do not include non-edible items in our grocery bill. When I do our weekly meal plan and grocery list, I do not include trash bags, dish soap or laundry detergent etc. on our list.
