14 Apps or Websites That Make You Money
If you do a lot of online shopping like most people these days, you must download the Earny app.
This is how Earny works: If you buy something online and it drops in price, you get cash back. Sounds good, right?
Since I am always ordering online, especially from Amazon which is notorious for dropping prices one day and increasing them the next, I get money back very often.
Basically Earny connects with your email and Amazon accounts by tracking your email receipts from items you purchase online. After you purchase something and the price drops, Earny goes ahead and will request a refund which will be credited back to your account. Earnly takes a very small percentage of the refund.
Basically, set your accounts up with Earny and they will take care of the rest. So you never have to worry if you got the best price.
Dosh works very similar to the Earny app.
You link your credit and debit cards with their bank level secure website. Then whenever you use your credit or debit card, you get cash back. Depending on what store you shop at, you can get up to 10% of your cash back. Dosh puts the cash you get back into an online virtual wallet.
You can also make $5 for every friend you refer that signs up and links a card.
When you are ready to cash out, you can have your money sent to you via Paypal, your bank account or you can donate to a charity.
You are going to have make room for all your new holiday gifts, so get paid for it.
Sell your used stuff on Decluttr. Even Lego pieces….by the pound.
Who needs Ebay anymore? Use Decluttr and you don’t have to pay any auction listing fees.
Get rid of your electronics: old cell phones, old Kindles, all Apple, Blackberry, Samsung products, tablets and even tech wearables. Don’t forget old CDs, DVDs, BluRays, video games and even books.
To get started, all you need to do is enter the make, model or condition of your phone, etc. or the barcode of the item you would like to sell and you will get an instant price. Then if you like the price suggestion, pack your items up in a box, get your FREE shipping label and drop the box off at the closest UPS store. Or even hand it to a UPS driver.
Then, are you ready for this? You get paid the day after your items arrive at the warehouse. Payment is either by check, Paypal or direct deposit.
Now start getting rid of all that stuff and gain some space and money!
Vindale Research is a survey site that gives you $1 right away for signing up. And, Vindale pays in straight cash – not points through Paypal or by check.
Vindale is one of highest paying survey sites around. I have been with them for years.
Aside from doing surveys, you can earn cash by finding reward codes, referring friends ($5 per friend), watching videos and giving your feedback and more.
I love earning gifts cards. Why? Because we spend about $0 on Christmas. Every year. I spoke about it right here.
The Drop App makes getting gift cards very easy.
Simply spend money and pay for it using your debit card or credit card and you get PAID. Yup. Paid for doing what you normally do.
When you sign up, you choose your favorite stores and then you link your cards to the app. Whenever you do make a purchase, you earn points that can eventually be redeemed for gift cards. You also have the option to earn bonuses as an incentive.
Again, this type of App is great to start using at this time of year, when you are shopping online more than usual.
Zap App is a survey app that you want to use when you have a few minutes to spare. All their surveys pay at least $1 and for every survey you get paid for, Zap Surveys will also donate their cash to child starvation. Talk abut a win-win.
Once you reach $25 (which will be quick when you spend a few minutes per day), you can cash out for Paypal cash or Amazon e-Gift cards (my favorite).
Checkpoints helps you earn gift cards when you are shopping online, watching videos, conducting searches and more. You can also earn by going into stores and scanning certain products, as well as participating in Sweepstakes.
Basically, when you are out shopping anywhere, use Checkpoints and you will get points added to your account that you can use for Gift Cards, tablets and even gaming systems.
Acorns works a bit differently that the other apps or websites that make you money. This website actually saves “your” money for you. Basically, they are a micro-investment website.
Here’s how it works: When you make a purchase that comes to $12.18 (example), Acorns will round up your purchase to $13.00. They will take the $.82¢ and make it work for you. Basically they invest your spare change for you – and believe me, you won’t miss it.
Here is their website and how they work.
Survey Club is just what it sounds like – a survey club – loaded with surveys galore. They pay very well too. Make it a point to fill out all the personal questions so they are able to match you with the most surveys possible.
Another favorite part of using Survey Club is that they pay with Amazon e-Gift cards or by check.
Have you heard of the Spent App? Guess what you have to do with this app to earn money? Nothing. Nada. Zilch. Just go about shopping, eating out and booking travel arrangements and get paid for it. Sounds simple, right?
All you need to do is link your credit card or debit card to the app and you will begin earning. What’s great is that you will earn on top of whatever loyalty program your credit card is associated with.
Did you know you can get PAID for following Weight Watchers, Keto, Whole 30, or your own diet plan while losing weight? You can! You simply bet on yourself to lose 4% of your body weight in a set amount of time. A bunch of other dieters will join you and hope to reach that goal as well. Before the betting begins, all dieters participating will bet money at the beginning of the game. Then, when you and other dieters reach your goal, you split the pot. For instance, right now, there is a Diet Bet going that has a pot of $40,000 with 300 players hoping to reach their goal and get a piece of the pie.
Gift Wallet is a task driven app that will reward you for doing simple tasks. Once you collect enough “coins” you can turn them in for rewards such as Paypal cash, Amazon Gift Cards and more.
Sweatcoin is another app that pays you to walk. Yup! All you do is download the app, and run it on your phone when you walk or run outside, the app keeps track and you can paid in “sweatcoins”.
After you accumulated a certain amount of sweatcoins, you can trade them in for gift cards, fitness related items, music downloads and more fun stuff.
Field Agent is a fun money making app that you can download to do simple tasks that start at $1.
When you are out shopping like you normally do, all you need to do is simple price checks at certain stores in your area. Sometimes, it’s as simple as taking picture of the item. You get payment via Direct Deposit (which I do) through Dwolla or a prepaid debit card.
So, the next time you find yourself at Walmart, simply log onto the Field Agent app to see if there are any money making opportunities available and start earning.
