  • 1/4 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 Tsp Nutmeg
  • 2 Tbl Butter, Melted

  • 1/4 Cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract

For the Glaze

  • 1 Cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 Tbl Milk
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a standard loaf pan with non-stick spray or butter.
  • Prepare Dough: Separate each Pillsbury Grands biscuit into two thinner rounds, giving you 16 rounds in total.
  • Make Pumpkin Filling: In a bowl, mix ¾ cup pumpkin puree, ¼ cup sugar, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, and ½ teaspoon nutmeg.
  • Prepare Cream Cheese Filling: In another bowl, mix softened cream cheese with ¼ cup powdered sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Layer the Dough: Take a round of biscuit dough, brush one side with melted butter, and spread a thin layer of pumpkin filling. Then, add a small dollop of the cream cheese mixture and spread it on top. Repeat for all the dough rounds.
  • Assemble: Stack 3-4 dough rounds at a time and place the stacks vertically in the greased loaf pan until the pan is filled.
Bake the Bread: Bake the loaf in the oven for 40-45 minutes until the bread is golden brown and baked through.
  • Cool and Glaze: Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes. In the meantime, mix 1 cup powdered sugar, 1 tablespoon milk, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract to make the glaze. Drizzle over the warm loaf before serving.
