Ingredients

  • 1 Lb Butterball Fresh Turkey Sausage Breakfast Roll
  • 8 Pillsbury Reduced Fat Grands Biscuits
  • 2 Tbl Land O'Lakes Light Whipped Butter
  • 1/4 Cup All Purpose Flour
  • 2 Tsp Ground Pepper
  • 3 Cups Skim Milk
  • Dried Parsley Flakes, Optional for Topping

Instructions

  • Spray a saute pan with vegetable cooking spray and place over medium heat. Add the breakfast turkey sausage to the skillet, using a spatula to finely crumble the meat. Continue cooking until the sausage is fully cooked and crumbled.
  • Preheat your oven and make the biscuits according to package directions.
  • Reduce the heat to medium-low. Add the butter, flour, and pepper to the turkey sausage, stirring until combined and no longer visible.
  • Gradually add the milk and continue cooking for 8-10 minutes, stirring until the gravy thickens. Once the gravy is as thick as you'd like, reduce the heat to its lowest setting to keep warm. Sprinkle parsley flakes on top if using.
  • This makes 8 servings with each person getting 1 biscuit and about 1/3 cup of turkey sausage gravy over the top. Each serving on Weight Watchers is 10 Points per serving. Enjoy!
