Chicken Caesar Pasta Bake

Ingredients

  • 12 oz Barilla Protein Pasta (Any Type)
  • 2 Cans Canned Chicken, Drained (12.5 oz Can)
  • 1 Cup Cottage Cheese (You can use Regular, Low Fat or Fat Free)
  • 1/2 Cup Caesar Dressing (Your Favorite)
  • 1/2 Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 Cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 2 Cloves Minced Garlic
  • Salt & Pepper To Taste
  • Chopped Parsley, Optional

Instructions

  • Boil pasta until just al dente. Drain and set aside
  • In a blender, combine: cottage cheese, Caesar dressing, garlic, parmesan. Blend until completely smooth. No lumps. This is key for the texture.
  • In a large bowl, mix cooked pasta, canned chicken (keep slightly chunky, not shredded smooth) & blended sauce. Stir until everything is coated
  • Transfer to a 13 x 9 baking dish that has been coated with cooking spray. Top with mozzarella & extra parmesan. Don’t mix the top—this gives you that melted layer
  • Bake at 375°F for 20–25 minutes. Broil last 2–3 minutes for golden top
