Ingredients
  • 2 Tablespoons of Avocado Oil
  • ½ Cup of Sliced Green Onions
  • 2 Garlic Cloves, Minced
  • 3 Cups of Asparagus, Woody Ends Removed & Remainder Chopped
  • 2 Cups of Chicken Bone Broth
  • ½ Cup of Toasted Walnuts
  • ½ Cup of Heavy Cream
  • 3 Tablespoons of Liquid Aminos
  • Salt/Pepper to Taste
  • Garnish with Additional Aspargus Spears & Green Onion, Optional
Instructions
  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of avocado oil in a sautepan over medium high heat. When pan is sizzling, add in green onions and minced garlic cloves. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Cook until green onions begin to wilt - about 5 minutes.
  2. Add in the sliced asparagus that have the woody ends removed. Add in bone broth and bring to a light rolling boil. Reduce heat and cover pan for about 10 minutes until asparagus is tender. Remove from heat.
  3. Toast walnuts using this tool or in oven*. Add entire saute pan in a blender and process until smooth. Add in nuts. Return to saucepan and stir in heavy cream and liquid aminos. Season again with salt/pepper to taste. Heat through but do not boil.
