Berrylicious Sauce

This is a delicious sauce that is 0 Points and perfect to serve over the Swiss Meringue Clouds. I also pour this over nonfat cottage cheese for a delicious protein packed snack.
  • 2 Cups of Ripe Strawberries (Hulled & Sliced)
  • 2 Tablespoons of Granulated Splenda
  • 1.5 Teaspoons of Cornstarch
  • ⅛ Teaspoon each of Vanilla & Almond Extract
  1. In a bowl, combine strawberries and the Splenda. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.
  2. Drain, but keep the juice from the strawberries. Set berries aside. Add water to the strawberry juice to measure ½ cup and pour into a saucepan.
  3. Stir in cornstarch until smooth. Bring to a boil and stir for 2 minutes. Remove from the heat and stir in the extracts.
  4. Pour over the reserved berries and fold gently. Chill and pour over the Swiss Meringue Clouds.
  5. This entire recipe is 0 Point on the Blue, Green and Purple Plans. Enjoy!
