Syrupy Tangy Brussel Sprouts

Ingredients
  • 5 Slices of Center Cut Bacon, Diced
  • 1 (16oz) Bag of Frozen Brussel Sprouts, Thawed
  • ½ Medium Onion
  • 1 Tablespoon + 2 Teaspoons of Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 2 Teaspoons of Granulated Splenda
  • ½ Teaspoon of Salt
  • ⅛ Teaspoon of Ground Mustard & Pepper
Instructions
  1. Cook bacon until crisp in a frying pan. Set aside and let it drain on paper towels.
  2. In the same pan, saute brussel sprouts and onion until onion is tender and crispy.
  3. Add in Splenda, Vinegar, salt, pepper and ground mustard.
  4. Bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and cover the pan. Let it simmer for another 5 minutes or longer if you want the brussel sprouts more tender. Stir in bacon and serve.
