Freestylin' Spicy Dr. Pepper Shredded Chicken

Here is a delicious dinner that you can put together in the morning and have ready by dinner time. This makes about 6 servings at just 1 Freestyle Point each. Yum!
Ingredients
  • 3 Pounds of Boneless & Skinless Chicken Breasts
  • 3 Onions, Peeled and Quartered
  • 2 12-ounce Cans of DIET Dr. Pepper
  • Salt & Pepper to Taste
  • 6 Tablespoons of Canned Chipotle Chilies in Adobo Sauce
  • 3 Tablespoons of Truvia Natural Sweetener with Brown Sugar Blend
Instructions
  1. Put onions in bottom of a slow cooker. Lay chicken breasts on top of onions.
  2. Add salt and pepper to chicken.
  3. In a large measuring cup or bowl, combine Diet Dr. Pepper, Chilies and Brown Sugar Blend.
  4. Pour over chicken.
  5. Cover and cook on low 6-7 hours.
  6. Use two forks to shred the chicken and serve. At 6 servings, this now will be 1 Freestyle Point for 8 ounces of meat with sauce! Yum!
