After coming off a no spend week last week and using a few things from our freezer and pantry, we stocked up this week. We grocery shopped at three places this week, Save-A-Lot, Publix and Winn Dixie. So below you can see our $67 weekly grocery list, grocery haul and meal plan for this week.
This week’s grocery haul has lots of frozen chicken in it. If your local grocery store sells Sandra’s Chicken, you have to try it. It is delicious and is always on sale at Publix for $4.99 and buy one get one free. The Sandra’s website always has coupons available. But a couple weeks back, they released a $2.00 off per package coupon. So we got the chicken for .99¢ for 4 stuffed chicken breasts. So at .25¢ per chicken breast – I think it’s a steal. Not to mention, it’s one of those items that is great to have in your freezer when you forget to defrost something for dinner.
Like last week, I will include our family’s weekly meal plan, grocery list and grocery haul for $67. I will add the cost of items we bought along with the coupons I used too.

Our total grocery bill this week came in just a tad under $67 for our family of 3. Below is what our weekly meal plan for breakfast, lunch and dinner will be as well as, my son’s lunches that he takes to school and my husband’s separate breakfasts. All together, it is a total of about 63 meals.
FIRST, LET ME SAY THAT IN ORDER TO KEEP OUR GROCERY BILL SUPER LOW WE DO THE FOLLOWING:
1. Shop at different stores. Â We mainly shop at Publix but also frequent Aldi, Save-A-Lot, Winn-Dixie or Walmart when meat sales are good.
2. Our son is also a picky eater and does not eat the same meals as us different times during the week.
3. We stock up on beverages, snacks, staples etc. when we have extra money available or especially when there is not a great sale on meat.
4. I do make quite a few items from scratch.  Especially snacks for my son’s lunch, bread, muffins, soups, sauces, etc.
5. We do not include non-edible items in our grocery bill. When I do our weekly meal plan and grocery list, I do not include trash bags, dish soap or laundry detergent etc. on our list.
